Servicebird is committed to making its website and platform accessible to all users, including public sector staff, service users, and Freelancer professionals with disabilities. Given that our customers include NHS Trusts, local authorities, and other public bodies, we aim to meet the accessibility standards expected under the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018, where applicable to services delivered on their behalf.
4.1 Accessibility standard
We aim for the Site to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This includes providing sufficient colour contrast, keyboard navigability, descriptive link text, alt text for images, and compatibility with common screen readers.
4.2 Current status
This website has been designed to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA guidelines. Key accessibility implementations include high-contrast semantic typography, keyboard-focusable navigation landmarks, ARIA labels for interactive screen readers, scalable typography without layout clipping, and motion-reduction support for animations.
4.3 Feedback and contact
If you find any part of the Site difficult to use, or need information in an alternative format (such as large print, plain text, or audio), please contact our team at info@servicebird.co.uk. We aim to acknowledge and resolve accessibility inquiries within 5 working days.
4.4 Enforcement procedure
If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS). For accessibility complaints relating to a specific public sector body’s use of the platform, you may also have a right to contact the relevant body directly or, in some cases, the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
